Sr. Enterprise Account Executive – FinTech Start-up!

€70-85k base + OTE with uncapped commission

Dublin/Hybrid (3 days a wk in the office)

 

 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Executive/Enterprise Sales Executive to sell an innovative FinTech solution to global issuer-processors, banking-as-a-Service platforms and card issuing platforms.

 

As an integral part of the growing sales team, reporting directly into one of the founders, you will be responsible for proactively driving revenue, by identifying and capitalising on opportunities within the payment landscape.

 

This is an outbound, lead gen', consultative new business sales role, selling a complex technology solution to SME and Enterprise clients. Experience working in a comparable role is crucial for this hire.

 

Joining a start-up, you will be in a very visible role, that is highly results focused. This also means you will have direct access to the founders and decisions can be made, fast!

 

The ideal candidate will thrive in a KPI driven environment, will naturally work at pace and be familiar at hitting and exceeding commercial targets. In return, there is a very realistic uncapped OTE available and a real opportunity to progress into the role of Head of Sales, in due course.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets within the FinTech ecosystem, focusing specially on global issuer-processors, banking-as-a-Service platforms and card issuing platforms.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within SME and Enterprise businesses
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of card issuers and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations with prospective clients to showcase the value proposition of this FinTech solution.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, including contract negotiation and closing agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, revenue forecasts and KPIs, to senior management.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, or as a Senior Account Executive in the FinTech landscape
  • Strong understanding of payment processing, card issuance, and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to take ownership of projects and initiatives.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
  • Must have worked within the start-up landscape previously
