We're seeking a talented and senior digital editor with experience of running websites who can focus, grow and develop the team and unique new opportunity.

This senior role involves spearheading thier editorial and branded content output within an expanding team.

An interest in food and drink is a must, with specialist knowledge in the restaurant, bar, hotel, and/or travel sectors being advantageous.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the digital content strategy across food, drink, and travel to engage our target audience and achieve brand objectives.
  • Content Creation:
  • Produce compelling digital content, industry figures, and the wider content team.
  • Manage a network of freelancers to commission content and optimize budgets for maximum impact.
  • Coordinate digital content scheduling and manage the content calendar in collaboration with the events content team.
  • Curate and publish newsletters and oversee sponsor campaign ideation and project management.
  • Edit and optimise digital content for quality, readability, search engine visibility, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the social media team to ensure content aligns with social KPIs.

Experience and Skills Required:

  • Experience running a content website.
  • Experience/Knowledge of food, drink, travel, and lifestyle sectors.
  • Strong writing, editing, and commissioning skills.
  • Organizational abilities and multitasking skills.
  • Understanding of commercial partnerships and brand engagement.
  • Proficiency in web page and website management, CMS, and HTML.
  • Goal-oriented, collaborative, and innovative mindset.
  • Familiarity with SEO optimization, social media, and analytics.
  • Experience in people management preferred.
  • Video and photo editing skills advantageous.
  • Language skills advantageous, but not essential.
