West Sussex (2 days required in office plus 1 day in London office)

As the global and regional authority in hospitality and to solidify the brand’s positive impact in gastronomy, we are seeking an experienced in-house PR & Communications Manager.

This epic business dominates the scene as the go-to for top-tier hospitality awards events, globally renowned as the cutting-edge innovator in its realm.

This role involves collaborating with the Head of PR & Communications and PR Account Executive within the dynamic PR team, driven by a goal of delivering ROI-driven, multi-channel communication campaigns for sponsors, in response to exceptional growth.

Role Overview:

  • Foster positive relationships with contracted PR agencies through regular communication
  • Lead and supervise agencies handling media relations for events/activities from inception to post-event reports
  • Assist PR agencies in arranging media interviews with key figures pre, during, and post-awards events
  • Collaborate with PR agencies to develop media messages, FAQs, and other materials for media pitching
  • Review and provide feedback on press materials drafted by PR agencies
  • Coordinate events media relations, including agency briefing, Press Conference, and asset distribution
  • Support Head of PR and Director of Content in developing brand communication and action plan
  • Oversee hosted media program for each awards, collaborating with destination partners
  • Manage PR Account Executive in day-to-day task execution
  • Perform administrative tasks, including maintaining media databases and organizing PR folders

Requirements:

  • In-house PR experience working for a hospitality/food/drinks business
  • Experience in international PR and events
  • Proven track record in consumer-facing brand PR campaigns
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple projects
  • Knowledge of media landscape and international media relations
  • Interest in restaurants, bars, and hotels
  • Knowledge of Cision, PowerPoint, and Adobe is desirable
  • Language skills are a plus
