Social Media & Digital Content Marketing Manager – Consumer app – Parenting
£40k per annum
Initially 3 days a week – to become full-time

Excited to be supporting an award-winning, early-stage, consumer app, to source and secure a Social Media & Digital Content Marketing Manager, to further grow their offering across their parenting niche.
Today they are in the middle of an investment round, which will further enable them to achieve their global growth plans!!
The Vacancy:
This is a consumer facing marketing role, which requires a driven and passionate content marketing professional to manage the website, blog, email marketing, social media and all digital content.
This is a remote and flexible role. Initially 3 days a week, with plans to become full time after the next investment round closes in April.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working remotely, motivating themselves to build and support the brand across all marketing touch points.
Day to day:
· You will be required to use data and insights around the core audience, to drive strongly performing creative content that results in high-engagement & retention.
· A solid understanding of inbound marketing and attracting audiences to content with compelling messaging – is key!
· You will be required to create content that raises awareness & drives acquisition.
· You will be responsible for any expansion into new channels.
· They will work closely with the Community Manager to streamline communications and drive acquisition and retention on the app.
· You will be the tone of voice for the brand and help create awareness and growth through the buzz and engagement you create across our channels.
· Influencer management – frequently working with influencer partners & industry experts
· Weekly reporting and daily interaction with the team
About you:
· You are a hands-on, positive ‘can-do’ person with a data driven growth mindset and entrepreneurial fare.
· You’ll be excited about the prospect of owning and driving all the digital content across multiple channels.
· You thrive and stay calm under pressure in a fast paced, high growth start-up
· You’re creative and love innovating in content, whether that’s video, engaging copy or image based content.
Required Skills:
- 5 years+ relevant content marketing experience with demonstrated track record in driving results, via social media
- Experience of using data insights and testing to drive growth in engagement and followership within social channels
- Blog and content management experience
- Email marketing experience
- Confident and talented with design and content creation
- A problem solver, out of the box thinker and ‘can-do’ attitude
- A love of fast-paced environments and taking responsibility from day one
- Proven track record of data driven reporting
- Able to juggle the day to day but see the bigger picture
- Previous start-up experience is a plus
- Tools experience is a plus (Hubspot, Mailchimp, Social scheduling tools, Adobe/Canva, etc)
