Senior Sales Director, UK (Media Agencies)
£100k plus bonus
This incredibly well-funded, next generation Video AdTech platform having recently been bought by private equity company, is seeking a new Sales Director to continue to help it scale across London media agencies.
With it's own proprietary software that’s sits only within premium publishers, there are lots of different ways that agencies can buy on behalf of their clients.
Helping publishers do more with their content by delivering quality videos at scale, their demand offering is now taking the London media agency market by storm.
Your job is to run their Media Agency strategy, execution as well as to manage small but growing agency sales team in the UK.
This key leader will be responsible for prospecting and closing deals with programmatic buyers ranging from Holding Company trading desks to independent agencies and advertisers who control video media budgets. This person will report to the SVP, EMEA. This is a hands-on, management, sales and business development role that will touch all cycles, from hunting to building innovative partner development and strategic programs throughout the process. You will work closely with the Programmatic Operations team to support the growth of the accounts and day to day deal management and execution.
? Own the annual budget for the UK Agency/Demand sales team
? Work with SVP, EMEA on strategic Holding Company/agency trading deals
? Prospect and close video deals with advertisers, agencies, trading desks and DSPs who control programmatic budgets
? Drive strategic sales development for the team
? Lead go-to-market and new business with the demand ecosystem in the UK
? Help build sales collateral and shape product marketing for the buy side
? Have strong knowledge of both buyer and publisher partners’ role, in order to drive monetization
? Advise on commercial recommendations based on local market feedback
? Create commercial packages and client recommendations for programmatic campaigns
? Track record of success in overachieving goals and running sales teams
? Heavy programmatic buyer landscape customer knowledge
? Strong contacts with decision-makers at agencies, advertisers, and preferably DSP
? Sales and Business Development DNA with proven track record to close deals
? Consultative style that quickly wins client trust
? Eager and hungry to build a legacy and leadership in industry
? Solid grasp of online video space with a vision of how it evolves
? 7+ years of experience in programmatic platform sales and business development in the UK market
? Ability to work effectively in a team-based organization, collaborate cross-functionally, and build alignment around goals and objectives
