The Role:

The successful candidate will be required to grow this business's distribution capability by leveraging the company’s IP across all platforms, whether digital or linear.

The Manager, Distribution, EMEA’s core responsibility will be to maximise revenues through leveraging intellectual property across MENA, Turkey, Greece, Israel, and Sub Sahara Africa.

This individual will work with the Head of VOD, EMEA with sales to linear & digital platforms, including distribution to free-to-air, cable, and satellite channels and platforms as well as subscription (SVOD) and ad-funded (AVOD/FAST) digital businesses.

Distributing content, driving brand awareness and revenues from local and regional linear and digital players will be the main focus of this role, working with potential partners to identify ways to drive a compelling consumer experience that surpasses competitors and provides optimal revenue opportunities across all screens.

The main objectives of this role will be to; Initiate, negotiate, and close distribution deals for rights to this entertainment company's, IP’s with Cable, Satellite, Internet, and Mobile platforms as well as broadcasters throughout a variety of business models, including VOD (SVOD/AVOD/FAST).

Necessary Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar role
  • Solid experience of content, brand, IP
  • Active industry network across MENA
  • Lots of success in driving revenue through creative content distribution deals
  • Working knowledge of the television and digital businesses in across MENA, Turkey, Greece, Israel, and Sub Sahara Africa
  • A strategic and independent thinker
  • Able to build creative alliances externally and internally
  • Talented at developing relationships and building trust – leading to results
  • Keeps the region’s strategy responsive to market changes
  • Knowledge of multiple languages is a plus
