With game developers’ main objective being to create a great game with an optimal monetization mechanism to maximize revenue, there are quite a few aspects to planning and implementing one’s game economy.
This tech start-up has built an end-to-end platform to build, launch, and grow high-quality web3 games, allowing developers to easily integrate gaming-specific digital assets, multi-chain wallets, tokens, custom marketplaces, & more. They also offer a white label marketplace using a plug&play solution.
This SaaS platform ultimately gives game developers valuable insight into blockchain game economies, monetization and user analytics and have ambitions to later become a new kind of AdNetwork, working with the media and entertainment marketplace.
The business has already secured VC funding and are set to scale, fast! As such they now need to hire their first Marketeer to bolster the sales effort and drive brand awareness, enquiries, leads and ultimately sales.
The role
Reporting into the CBO, this growth hacker must be highly ambitious and familiar with working in a fast-moving, changeable, early-stage environment. This is a 10 month old start-up, there is nowhere to hide 🙂
Now entering its growth phase, the business are offering the right candidate an exceptional opportunity to shape and build this position as they see fit. This could be a real career making opportunity. Ideally, this candidate needs to be hugely proactive, autonomous, self-motivated and ultimately intently results focused!
Experience in SaaS is crucial, as is a passion/interest in gaming and Web3. Experience working within the Blockchain landscape would also be hugely advantageous, but most importantly you must have been a Growth Hacker for another start-up, previously, with impressive results to showcase.
Responsibilities
· Plan and execute a marketing strategy from the ground-up, for new and existing products or services
· Oversee the implementation of the marketing strategy
· Develop a brand strategy
· Identify new business opportunities and lead-generation campaigns
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis
· Execute and monitor lead generation outreach campaigns
· Set and administer an annual marketing budget
· Drive content production for articles, blogs, posts, and presentations in collaboration with product and sales teams;
· Develop a paid media strategy and drive PR in collaboration with the external PR firm
· Collaborate with publishing partners and sales team to compile testimonials, case studies and best practices.
· Organise events (private events, conferences, etc).
· Report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs
· Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation’s databases and external data
About you!
· Extensive start-up, growth marketing experience – this is not a role for the faint hearted!
· Results focused; data led marketeer who thrives in a KPI environment
· Skilled at driving the sales funnel with brand awareness and lead generation campaigns
· Experience with LinkedIn, Twitter community marketing and (Discord is desirable).
· Experience writing engaging features for social media, industry press, sales material, case studies.
· Experienced at creating thought leadership material
· Skilled at coordinating industry events: such as webinars, conferences and conferences
· Highly organised, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
· You are tenacious and scrappy, thinking outside of the box comes naturally to you
· Experience in SaaS is crucial, as is a passion/interest in gaming and Web3.
· Experience working within the Blockchain landscape would also be hugely advantageous
