£negotiable dependent on experience

Hybrid working – 2 days a week in office in West Sussex

Are you seeking an Editor role within a hugely well-respected global food & drink title?

This is an enviable opportunity to join a team that are deeply engaged in their markets and recognised as the most trusted professionals in their field. The brand spans digital, a series of high-profile face-to-face and digital events, plus social media channels too.

This title sits within a large B2B media owner of trusted brands, that reach huge and varied audiences through outstanding digital media, insights, prestigious awards, innovative exhibitions, events and print.

They have successfully harnessed digital channels to deliver insightful journalism and high-value data to businesses the world over.


  • Plan, manage and deliver high-value daily news content
  • Recruit speakers and set the agenda across webinars and events
  • Develop new content plans to engage with our key communities
  • Develop feature plans and webinar schedules to aid the commercial teams and engage with audiences
  • Manage allocated special projects to agreed objectives
  • Lead team by example, attending industry events and becoming the face of the brand
  • Develop, coach and mentor team members
  • Generate a regular newsletter and social presence to drive more traffic
  • Develop new content plans to engage with our key communities
  • Work with content teams to support and create commercial opportunities
  • Innovate content channels to deliver content in a form that the audience want it most
  • Contribute to brand extension initiatives including conferences and awards


  • An accomplished B2B online journalist with a track record of success
  • The ability to deliver top-quality, value-added content to demanding daily deadlines
  • First-class interviewing, news reporting and editing skills.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills.
  • The ability to grasp complex scientific or technical information quickly.
  • The charisma to represent the title to target industries.
  • Web editing, posting and software knowledge.
  • Strong team spirit and the ability to partner others working on joint projects.
  • Good proof-reading skills.
  • An interest in multi-media journalism and ability to acquire expertise in this area quickly.
  • Budgeting skills and the resolution to use them.
