Location: Fully remote but must be UK Based
Salary: £45-55k + package, which includes stock options and a bonus.

Key Responsibilities:

1.  Develop and maintain robust and scalable backend services utilising PHP, Laravel, and AWS.

2.  Collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and cross-functional team members to ensure a seamless user experience.

3.  Leverage AWS services, including EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, and more, for application development and deployment.

4.  Create reusable, testable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and design principles.

5.  Integrate with third-party APIs and web services to enhance functionality.

6.  Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

7.  Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and consistency.

8.  Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance to ensure the best user experience.

9.  Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, implementing them when relevant.


1.  A minimum of 5 years of experience working with PHP, Laravel, and AWS.

2.  Ideally some experience with React.js

3.  Strong grasp of object-oriented programming and proficiency in MVC frameworks.

4.  Competency in relational databases such as MySQL, and experience with ORM tools like Eloquent.

5.  Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture.

6.  Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.

7.  Experience with Web3 and AI technologies is a significant advantage.

8.  Exceptional problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills.

9.  Knowledge of modern security practices and GDPR regulations.

10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
