A major global media event is looking for an experienced Account Manager to oversee international partnerships with export agencies.

In this role, you'll facilitate connections with foreign distributors, customers, and partners, helping businesses expand their global network by establishing a presence at this hub for international tech, creative industries, and business leaders.

By working closely with export agencies, you’ll support international businesses and brands in promoting their products and services through strategic marketing campaigns and targeted promotional activities, reaching thousands of key industry leaders including tech innovators, startups, advertisers, marketers, designers, creators, and corporate executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for international sales reps and export agencies.
  • Highlight the benefits of event visibility to export agencies and their partner brands.
  • Facilitate country-specific activations and branded experiences at the event.
  • Guide clients through the government funding and approval process.
  • Manage relationships with high-level international clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless on-site execution.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in account/project management with international trade or government partnerships
  • Experience selling to export agencies helping companies promote their products and services in foreign markets through marketing campaigns, trade shows, and other promotional activities – highly advantageous!
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and results-driven approach
  • Ability to manage complex projects and high-level relationships
  • Prior event partnership sales success with international clients
