Account Director (Manchester & Leeds) – Digital OOH

Remote-In the North (preferably Mcr/Leeds, surrounding areas)

Having grown financially by over 100% in revenue in 2021 – this is a unique and exciting opportunity to join a company scaling at an accelerated rate year on year.

This is a career defining role, where you will have the opportunity to build out the entire revenue growth plan, for this OOH agency’s coverage across media agencies in the north of England.

You will manage a small & growing sales team in that territory and be responsible for them/you hitting setting revenue targets.

With your direct manager based in London, you will need to be proactive, accountable and self-motivated to achieve set business objectives.

An early-stage, scaling media owner who operate within the Outdoor / Digital Out of Home Industry.

With a team of 17 people, split over two cities, Liverpool and London, they are building strong relationships with clients who value sustainable values.

They pride themselves on being a small, proactive, personable OOH agency, rather than a huge corporate machine. As such they genuinely care about the territories and communities, they are positioned in.

Role Overview:

  • As the only Account Director in the North of England, you will be responsible for the management of sales and relationships with Media Agencies across Manchester & Leeds
  • You are to understand the client’s demands, plan how to meet these demands, and generate sales for the company as a result.
  • This is a very visible role, you will be expected to spend 4 days a week with the agencies, in person, building upon your existing relationships to ensure this exciting boutique OOH agency are on their planning schedules.
  • Responsible for building out the northern territories team, with immediate man-management of 1 x Account Manager
  • You will be required to very visible, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and media agencies (Comms Planners).
  • Sell in the strengths of OOH and the benefits of DOOH to media agencies and clients.

Required Experience:

  • To be considered for this role you must have excellent media planning, agency contacts, across Manchester and Leeds agencies. (Any OOH specialist agency contacts/experience would be a huge bonus; however this is not critical)
  • A solid history of selling media channels to media agencies
  • Media sales experience, not necessarily OOH (digital, press, radio or other media channels).
  • Excellent leadership skills
